About

At our nursery we believe that curiosity is the gateway to lifelong learning. Our unique approach encourages children to explore, question, and discover the world around them in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Early Explorers

Early explorers is a pre school nursery that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. The staff at Early explorers are dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential by providing engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive development. The facility is well equipped with a variety of resources, such as educational toys, books, and outdoor play areas, to support children’s learning and exploration. Children at Early explorers are encouraged to be curious and to ask questions, fostering a love of learning that will serve them well throughout their academic journey.

Our approach

Our curriculum aims to provide a warm and enriching foundation, preparing children for the transition to school and cultivating a love for learning through curiosity and discovery.

To support our teaching we use the Early Years foundation stage which is designed to provide a well-rounded education for children age 0-5 by encompassing the 7 areas of development.

Our practitioners use regular observations and assessments to understand each child’s skills, interests, and progress.

Individual learning paths are created based on these assessments to support continued development and readiness for primary education.

Our children

We recognise and respect that children learn and develop at their own pace. However, in order to help organise our activities, children are split into three rough groups:

•     6 months to 2 year olds

•     2 to 3 year olds

•     3 to 5 year olds

These age ranges allow for developmental differences, but also take into consideration the importance of social learning and the benefits that come from mixing children of varied stages of development.
