Early Explorers Nursery is located at 19 Blackheath Road, London SE10, right in the heart of Blackheath’s friendly community.
We’re just a 5-minute walk from Greenwich DLR station and close to local bus routes including 53, 177, and 180, making it easy to plan your Open Day visit.
On the day, visits run in 30-minute time slots between 10:00am and 1:00pm, with small groups to ensure you have time to look around, ask questions, and feel comfortable exploring the space.

Does Early Explorers at London have an outdoor playground?
Early Explorers at London has a unique combined outdoor park located directly next to the centre. The playground equipment is appropriate for Infants through Pre School so that children of all ages can play each day.
Is Early Explorers at London open all year?
Not only is our center open all year, we also accept registrations and enroll children throughout the year. Give us a call to learn more about a schedule and start date that work for your family.
Does Early Explorers at London have a Preschool program?
Yes! Our centre offers a full-day Preschool program for children ages 3 and older. Preschool is a big year. We’ve designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to ready-for-school curriculum; to the full support of experienced teachers. Just as important, our program is based on what research says best prepares children for early school years…and all the big steps ahead.
What is Early Explorers' process on checking the background of their employees?
Early Explorers conducts a comprehensive background check on all prospective employees and frequent visitors. The background check consists of a DBS check for the past seven years performed in all counties that a person has lived, worked or attended school. For all location employees, program licensing background checks required by law are also performed.
What is your policy regarding pictures/videos of my child(ren)?
The decision to allow for a child’s picture to be taken at a Early Explorers facility is at the discretion of the family. Some families allow pictures to be used strictly within the classroom, some allow pictures to be used both internally and externally (i.e. for our center-wide website), and still others do not allow pictures of their children to be taken at any time – no exceptions. In any case, we will respect your rights and your decision
